There’s just something about a Wedding at The Cove that makes it feel personal in the best way! Holly and Noah’s day was simple, intentional, and full of heart. Set right along the water in Normandy Park, their wedding felt less like a big production and more like an afternoon surrounded by the people they love most, the kind of day that’s calm, a little bit sentimental, and completely “them.”

What made this Wedding at The Cove even more special were the flowers. Holly and Noah didn’t just buy them, they grew them! Their garden, along with blooms from parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. Came together to fill the day with color and meaning. Every bouquet and table piece told a story, and you could just feel the love that went into it all.
Their first look was one of those moments that felt easy and real. The kind where you can tell the nerves instantly fade once they see each other. The two of them walked through the paths surrounded by trees and soft light, laughing the whole time. We spent the next while taking portraits that felt relaxed and natural, the kind where they could just be themselves. And that vintage van? It might’ve stolen the show for a second, such a fun, retro touch that fit the vibe perfectly!

Their ceremony took place on the lawn, with the sound of water nearby and flowers from their own gardens all around. It was short, sweet, and emotional in that quiet way that feels honest, just a few tears, a lot of smiles, and a big “we actually did it” moment as they walked back down the aisle. The reception was exactly what you’d hope for after a day like that, everyone laughing, eating, and soaking in the last bit of daylight before the dancing started. There was no rush, no fuss, just good energy all around. You could tell everyone there was genuinely happy to be part of it!

If you’re thinking about having your Wedding at The Cove or somewhere that gives you that cozy, backyard feel, this day is proof that simple can be just as special. You don’t need a ton of extras to make it memorable, just your people, a few personal touches, and a space that feels right. At the end of it all, that’s what stood out most about Holly and Noah’s day, it felt easy, it felt real, and it was completely theirs! Ready for me to capture your dream day?
