The lupines were at peak bloom, spilling across the landscape in purples and greens that looked like something out of a Monet painting. Their connection didn’t need anything extra, just a little sunlight, some wildflowers, and space to be themselves! We kept things light and natural, leaning into that documentary-style feel where every photo tells the truth of how they love. It was also such a joy to layer in some editorial-inspired touches, the soft linen tones, the movement in Alissa’s dress, the little in-between moments that looked like film stills. The best part? They made it all feel completely effortless. This wasn’t about forcing a look, it was about capturing what was already there.
